THANK YOU!!!
Thank you to all our participants, volunteers and event helpers, spectators and supporters of our 2023 event! It was a huge success with record attendance and contributions to our local Special Olympians!!! Our event continues to grow and we appreciate your support! A special thank you to the Liberty Launch Academy for allowing us access to their site for our 2023 and 2024 events! Thank you to the Stateline Speedway for allowing us to cruise on the track and have a little fun! Thank you also to our 2023 DJ Ken Boone who did a fantastic job filling the air with music and announcements!

About Our Event
The Cops, Cars & Cruisers event is a long standing community outreach event which began in 2006 under the name Cop & Kids and Rodders & More at Post Falls PD. It was both a department open house and a car show. I brought the event over to Liberty Lake when I transitioned to the Liberty Lake Police Department as the Police Ambassador. Over the years, the event has grown from just a car show, to a community outreach event that includes a car show, community oriented displays and activities, and a variety of performances and demonstrations. In 2023 we were supported by close to 200 vehicles in the car show, 15 community oriented displays, and a variety of spectators, supporters and friends! 2023 brought record attendance and record support towards Special Olympics. As the event continues to grow, we will be adding a Craft & Vendor Fair in 2024. More attractions to be added and announced soon!

This is a one-of-a-kind event that is designed to involve the community, in a laid back, family and fun atmosphere. Along with it being our annual community outreach event, it also benefits our local Special Olympians. All registration fees and donations collected prior to and during the event go directly to support the local Special Olympics programs. There is no expectation of you to pay a registration fee or donate to Special Olympics, but there is an expectation for you to enjoy the event!

What To Expect At The Event
Expect a good time! Expect to meet some wonderful people who share your same interests in cars, community, and Special Olympics in a great family oriented atmosphere! Expect a relaxed event with a variety of great vehicles of all type, a community oriented display area where local organizations that cater to the local communities will display and provide information on their services, and a vendor and craft fair which will showcase local arts and crafts. There will be various car clubs represented. In 2023 we had members of The Pharoahs of Spokane, The Gents, The Dirty Bombs, The River City Dodge Challengers and others. Various events and activities will be scheduled throughout the day including the arrival and departure of the Spokane Sheriff's air unit and others.

When The Gates Open at 9:00am
At 9:00, entry into the parking area will begin. Other than workers and volunteers, no early or reserved parking will be allowed. You will be greeted by several individuals whom will provide you with some basic directions and instructions, while our DJ from G&G Music fills the air with some great music. You will then be met by our parking specialist who will assist you with parking. Please follow the parking specialists instructions. We request that you proceed to the registration table as soon as possible to complete your registration process. Registration closes at 11am.

A Registration team will process your registration form with an entry #, collect your registration fee and any additional donation you would like to make towards our Special Olympians. You will also receive a voting card and your show card to be place visibly on the driver's side. At this point you are ready to set up your display, mingle and meet others, and find some time to sit in your easy chair to enjoy the event. If you have pre-registered as a car club, the designated club representive will be provided an additional show card to indicate being in the club car competition. Contact John at jbujosa@libertylakewapd.gov for more details on the club competition.
